Henry's Cellar is situated just off Lothian Road, underneath Lebowskis (formerly the Festival Tavern) and The Rainbow Arch Chinese Restaurant, just across the road from Sainsbury's - don't miss it as it's a basement and not easily visible from the street.
We have live music / club nights or other events up to 7 nights a week (check our listings for details) and have a late night bar licenced till 3am (5am during the Fringe).
All events are strictly over 18's

The Raft
All bookings at Henry's Cellar Bar are currently handled by the Raft.
The Raft is an umbrella name for a group of like-minded individuals who have been working or helping out with the running of gigs at Henry's for the past few years and got together in 2009 to try and cut out the middle man and take more control of the running of the venue, on a not-for-profit basis.
The main actors are Nora (mostly dealing with all technical issues and sound), Claire (most dealing with bookings) and Wallet (mostly here for the banter and to keep people smiling). We also have additional sound engineers working with us such as Tom (Arcadia Recordings), Joe (Bassmonsta Recordings), Jhed and Ralph, and are grateful for the help occasionally provided by other people such as Dom (Inane Conversations) and other regular promoters who put gigs on at Henry's.
